 * I am currently migrating our site over to wp engine and saw that I cannot use
   the ewww image optimizer. Will this be available in the future for wpengine and
   do you have any alternatives that we should use in the meantime?

 * I’m Eric from WP Engine. 🙂 If you want to use the ewww-image-optimizer plugin,
   I would recommend using [https://wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer-cloud/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer-cloud/).
   It’s the same process but this off load the compression process onto their cloud
   service.
