 * Hello,
 * I am working with WPForms for a registration form and one of the features I am
   using is the Autoreply feature – From the notification area to send to people
   when they register on the website.
 * I am using an HTML Email Template (My settings has been configured to HTML instead
   of Plain text) for my email.
 * Somehow, no matter how good this template look on the browser, it does not look
   good when it is being sent to the email. I have used tools like [https://putsmail.com/](https://putsmail.com/)
   to test what it is supposed to look like on my email, This tools sent the same
   thing I am passing into the WPForm into my email and it looks like what I need
   it to look like, however, the same code sends something else to my email. Please,
   is there something I am not doing right when I am using HTML Template for the
   email?
 * I will be really grateful for your assistance.
 * Thank you 🙂
 * EDIT: I just tested the same template with Contact Form 7 and it looks just perfect.
   Every other thnig works with the template except for WPForm which is what I have
   to use.

 * Hey [@webtranquility](https://wordpress.org/support/users/webtranquility/) –
   We don’t have an email template in quite the same sense as some other plugins,
   so to do what you describe requires a slightly different approach for our notifications.
 * We do allow HTML in the notification body, and if you’d like to make modifications
   to that you can do this right in the form builder under Settings > Notifications.
 * Here’s an example of how that might look like:
 * – [Message Setup.](https://a.supportally.com/klWvLo)
    – [Email Received.](https://a.supportally.com/ywFhFb)
 * If you’d like to, you can use some custom code to make further customizations
   to the email template styling and the email’s footer content. The only thing
   to note is that any changes you make to these will be applied to all notifications
   for WPForms on your site.
 * We have a [detailed tutorial](https://wpforms.com/developers/how-to-customize-the-styles-on-the-email-template/)
   of how to use HTML in the notification settings, as well as how to change styles
   with a custom email header file here.
 * Then, the footer text can be changed with a [slightly different code](https://wpforms.com/developers/how-to-remove-or-change-email-notification-footer-text/).
 * Hope this helps! 🙂

 * Thanks for the explanation.
 * Omo! I just read through them and that is not an easy implementation. I am curious
   as to why WPForms does not just let me use my own email template.
 * This is very difficult to implement and it is not flexible for that matter. I
   have to think of an alternative. Maybe Contact Form 7 would be best – it is what
   I have always used anyways.
 * Thanks again, [@niksebastian](https://wordpress.org/support/users/niksebastian/)

 * Thank you for your time, [@niksebastian](https://wordpress.org/support/users/niksebastian/)
   I used Contact Form 7 and I okay with this now.
 * Thank you again.
