WPForms Basic Functionality Failed and Ruined my Site Launce
-
I own WPForms Pro version and when customers at my site launch went to a form to fill out, the form didn’t redirect.
I now have hundreds of customers to email with the free file they were expecting instantly. I have put a warning label on top of the form on the live site telling everyone WPForms failed and is currently failing to fix their error.
Customer service rep Angela, many hours later, confirmed the error and said it was because the form redirected to the same page. Customer service rep Angela can’t read. The redirection link was to a regular page that was completely different from the blog post the form was on.
When I told her the two page urls were different (not even close), customer service rep Angela went silent. This, by the way, happened on a number of different blog post forms yesterday and the day before. I have hundreds of people to manually email. The amount of sheer rage I have is indescribable.
There are over 40 forms and redirects. This functionality is the heart of the website and it HAS to work reliably.
I can’t trust your company. How would I ever be able to tell if a form redirect was not working? Am I supposed to fill out 40 forms every day as a test? I tested them the morning of the launch! These forms stopped working midday and customers didn’t tell me; they were all confused. They didn’t know what was supposed to happen. The submit button just went nowhere.
Any suggestions for a fix? Is there any way I could trust these forms to work? Do you recommend I try Gravity instead? I really need a mature company to be able to handle simple form redirects reliably without hourly maintenance on my part.
