 * Hi,
 * Firstly, I’m completely new to using both WordPress and of course, WPForms Lite.
   Secondly, the domain name I’m using is one that I’m using to practice on before
   moving the site to the correct domain.
 * The issue is that when testing the contact form I no longer receive emails. It
   did initially work, but I amended the “From Name” field (all I simply did was
   that I added “Test site” to the field title), and since then it has stopped working.
 * I am wondering if the issue is connected to the fact that the domain name is
   difference to the actual email address that I want the email sent to? On the
   _Notifications_ tab in WPForms I get the message below:
 * > The current ‘From Email’ address does not match your website domain name (www.
   > tech-author.net). This can cause your notification emails to be blocked or
   > marked as spam.
   > We strongly recommend that you install the free [WP Mail SMTP](https://www.tech-author.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpforms-smtp)
   > plugin! The Setup Wizard makes it easy to fix your emails.
   > Alternately, try using a From Address that matches your website domain (admin@www.
   > tech-author.net).
   > Please check out our [doc on fixing email delivery issues](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-fix-wordpress-contact-form-not-sending-email-with-smtp/?utm_campaign=liteplugin&utm_source=WordPress&utm_medium=Builder%20Notifications&utm_content=Delivery%20Issues%20Documentation&utm_locale=en_GB)
   > for more details.
 * Is there a way that I can fix this so test emails can be sent (or should I upgrade
   to Pro?) Or would I simply expect the form to work correctly once I move the
   website to the correct domain? (when I figure out how to do that!
 * Many thanks in advance!

 * Hi [@savo76](https://wordpress.org/support/users/savo76/),
 * Thanks for reaching out!
 * Regarding this part:
 * > The issue is that when testing the contact form I no longer receive emails.
   > It did initially work, but I amended the “From Name” field (all I simply did
   > was that I added “Test site” to the field title), and since then it has stopped

 * The issue might be that the word “test” causes the email service to flag the
   notification email as spam. I recommend using a different word in “From Name”
   to prevent this issue.
 * If you continue to not receive notification emails, follow each step in [our guide on troubleshooting form notification emails](https://wpforms.com/docs/troubleshooting-email-notifications/).
 * Regarding the alert below the “From Email” field, it is a recommendation to prevent
   email delivery issues. The best next step to confirm this is to use an SMTP plugin.
   There are details about this solution in the above guide.
 * I hope this helps! Please let me know how it goes after following the steps in
   our guide, or if you have any questions.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi [@rsouzaam](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rsouzaam/),
 * I removed the text “Test Site” from the _From_ field and sent two emails, both
   of which were successful – thank you!
 * I shall also read the additional links you sent as well.
 * Many thanks!
