 * Hello everyone,
 * I’m a freelance website designer, and I use the WPForms plugin for all my websites.
   Recently, I’ve encountered an issue where, after a form is filled out and submitted,
   I receive an email notification from my website, but it’s completely empty with
   no form data displayed—just a blank email. My WPForms plugin is up to date, so
   I’m unsure why this is happening.
 * Has anyone else faced this issue or have any tips on how I might resolve it?
 * Thanks in advance for any help!
 * Best,
   Serkan

 * Hi [@srknksk](https://wordpress.org/support/users/srknksk/),
 * Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing
   with form notification emails.
 * To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings
   are configured correctly by following our [tutorial](https://wpforms.com/docs/setup-form-notification-wpforms/).
 * If your notification settings are correct, I recommend trying an SMTP plugin
   to see if it resolves the issue. We’ve had cases where server settings for PHP
   mail were causing parts of the email message to be removed, and using an SMTP
   plugin provided a quick solution.
 * We have an article with a list of [recommended SMTP options](https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-fix-wordpress-contact-form-not-sending-email-with-smtp/)
   and links to their setup tutorials.
 * I hope this helps!

 * Hi Again Ralden,
 * I have a question about configuring WP Mail SMTP. The website I’m working on
   has the domain xpressbuildingdesign.com.au, but the contact form sends emails
   using the domain XBDG.com.au. When setting up WP Mail SMTP, which domain’s hosting
   details should I use? Should it be for the website domain (xpressbuildingdesign.
   com.au) or the email domain (XBDG.com.au)?
 * Thanks for your help!

 * Hi [@srknksk](https://wordpress.org/support/users/srknksk/),
 * Thanks for your follow-up question!
 * If you’re using an email address with the domain XBDG.com.au on a site with the
   domain xpressbuildingdesign.com.au, you may see a warning in the form’s notification
   settings. This alert appears because notification emails may not be delivered
   reliably if the From Email doesn’t match your site’s domain, especially when
   using the server’s PHP mail function.
 * However, if you’re using an SMTP service, you should be able to use an email
   address with the domain XBDG.com.au **after** authenticating this domain with
   your SMTP provider (like [SendLayer](https://sendlayer.com/docs/authorizing-your-domain/)
   or [Brevo](https://help.brevo.com/hc/en-us/articles/12163873383186-Authenticate-your-domain-with-Brevo-Brevo-code-DKIM-record-DMARC-record),
   for example). An authenticated domain will have DNS settings like [DMARC, SPF, and DKIM](https://wpmailsmtp.com/dmarc-spf-dkim/),
   which help ensure that email clients accept the email message.
 * I hope this helps!
