 * Hi Ewout,
 * As promised here : [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/compatible-to-wpml#post-](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/compatible-to-wpml#post-)
 * my results for WPML.
 * There is only one issue, the fields we need to fill in ourselves.
 * Like:
 * – Shop name;
    – Shop address; – Footer: terms & conditions, policies, etc.; –
   The extra fields.
 * As you can understand, these fields needs to be translated as well.
 * Can you do an update for this?
 * Kind regards,
 * Willem-Siebe Spoelstra

 * Thanks for reporting, I will look into how to approach this. As you might understand
   this is not necessarily as easy as just making these fields translation ready
   because I cannot prepare these translations (after all, they are different for
   everyone). I might work together with something like Codestyling Localization,
   but I have to look into that.

 * Hi Ewout,
 * I understand. I think the best way is to contact WPML as well, as they are always
   willing to help out to get plugins compitable with WPML.
 * Maybe you can also look at how WooCommerce did it? For example, with the payment
   gateways, with BACS and COD for example, we can add a ‘description’ for the thankyou
   page and in emails. I use the English language there and translate this into
   Dutch with WPML without problems, because this is being recoginized by WPML.
   The technique behind this, I don’t know, but I think I can better say it because
   that’s maybe a working example.
 * I can also ask WPML to contact you if you want.
 * Kind regards,
 * Willem

 * [@willem](https://wordpress.org/support/users/willem/): Did you manage to translate
   all invoice parts into Dutch now with WPML? And if so, how did you do it? I can’t
   get strings like ‘order totals’ and ‘quantity’ translated to several languages.
   That is, I can translate it to one language, but not to multiple. Thanks for
   your reply in advance.

 * Hi Emielm, this plugin is not WPML ready yet. I emailed the author that I’m willing
   to pay for a WPML add-on if he release one. The only reason I’m still using it,
   is because at the moment I do have WPML installed but only have a Dutch version
   online at the moment. To get this plugin working (so that everything is in Dutch
   for customers) I had to set the WPML admin language also to Dutch, because else
   I also had parts I was not able to translate.

 * Hi Willem,
    Actually I managed to get it working with multiple languages now.
   You just have to make sure you translate the strings with WPML (and even check
   the already translated ones). The invoice sent to customers will then be in the
   language they had selected during checkout. Hope you will be able to get it working
   too. Kind regards, Emiel

 * Hi all,
 * I have a site in German (site language) and English (admin language and selection
   on front end). All strings are showing as translated within wpml but the invoice
   doesn’t translate. Regardless of which language the order is placed in, the invoice
   is always in English (admin language). Any thoughts?

 * Hello Snarfe,
    WPML is only fully supported via the [Professional extension](https://wpovernight.com/downloads/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips-professional/).
   The professional extension adds extra checks to make sure the correct language
   is always used.
 * Hope that helps!
 * Ewout
