# WPML – Woocommerce Invoices

 * Hi,
 * I’m experiencing a language issue with the automatic invoice generation.
 * My site’s **default language is Spanish**, but the shop is **multilingual** and
   customers can place orders in other languages (for example German).
 * Here is what happens:
    - When an order is completed automatically and the system sends the **“order
      completed” email**, the plugin correctly sends the email in **German** if 
      the customer placed the order in German.
    - However, the **invoice attached to that email is generated in Spanish** instead
      of German.
 * Interestingly, if I **manually resend the email to the customer** from the order
   page, the invoice is generated **correctly in German**.
 * So it seems the plugin detects the correct language when sending the email manually,
   but when the process is triggered automatically it falls back to the **site default
   language (Spanish)**.
 * Is this expected behaviour?
   Is there a way to force the invoice to be generated
   in the **order/customer language** when the email is sent automatically?
 * For reference:
    - Default site language: Spanish
    - Example affected language: German
    - Multilingual setup
 * Any guidance would be appreciated.

 * Please note that our free main plugin has limited support for multilingual setups.
   However, the [Professional extension](https://wpovernight.com/downloads/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips-professional/)
   adds full support for WPML and Polylang for WooCommerce, in addition to limited
   support for TranslatePress, Weglot, and GTranslate.
 * With this extension, you can configure the document language, choosing one of
   these options:
    - The active user language
    - The order/customer language
    - The site default language
    - A fixed language, e.g. English.
