# Write Post Upload broken link

 * when i am in write a post, i want to upload picture it gives me abroken link,
   and when i ftp to the upload folder, it does not exist.
    and when i check the
   properties of the broken link [http://almeelas.com/blog//270.thumbnail.jpg](http://almeelas.com/blog//270.thumbnail.jpg)

 * Maybe reuploading your admin folder solves the problem. I would try that first.

 * I’m having the same problem, there’s no uploads folder in my wp-content folder
   anyway? So I made one, and tried to do the 777 thing, but no luck again, my first
   day with wordpress has been crappy.

 * The upload folder should be /wp-content/uploads/.
 * Maybe you can also search if there has been a bug report about this:
