 * After every update I make whether a plugin update and at times a content update,
wordpress glitches and writes “AddHandler application/x-httpd-php70s.php” to
the .htaccess file. The site is running php7 so it’s odd.
 * That is turn makes every URL clicked download to the user a .php file. Any ideas?
I have an inclining it could be woocommerce. I ran the plugin updates individually
and things worked until a woocommerce update and then it happened.
 * Any thoughts?

 * There is absolutely nothing in WordPress itself that would write that.
 * It may be a plugin doing it, possibly even a theme function, or it could be something
   happening at the server level.
 * I recommend that you start by checking with your hosting provider’s support,
it could be a known issue on their end.
 * If not, you’ll have to start troubleshooting to find the cause. Try deactivating
all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until
   you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme
to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
 * Since it happens on every plugin update, the easiest way to check is to have
an old copy of a particular plugin on hand. The old plugin can remain deactivated,
and WordPress will still update it.

 * I made updates and after each one (which I did individually) things were fine
   until I updated woocommerce.

 * Ok, if you’re sure that WooCommerce is the problem, I recommend reporting the
   issue at [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce)
so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
 * Edit: Which you’ve already done, of course. Thank you! 🙂 Topic continues at
