# Wrong date

 * I installed the theme yesterday. I have encountered a problem. My posts are published
   on the right day but written on the site that is updated on a completely different
   one. I usually pre-publish posts but do not want this to be visible for my followers.
   I want the date when the post was published/shown on the web. Can this be fixed?
   And if so, how?
 * Im from sweden so english is my second language.

 * It is recommended to display the updated date to inform the search engines when
   your article was updated. It helps with SEO.
 * If you want to disable that, you can do it via **Appearance > Customize > General
   Settings > SEO Settings > Disable Last Updated Post Date**.
