# wrong IP shown when using a proxy

 * It’s very handy seeing the real ip of the submitting browser at the bottom of
   the emails, but these are replaced with the internal IP of the proxy, in my case
   Sucuris firewall is the proxy, the suggestions they have here are [https://kb.sucuri.net/cloudproxy/Troubleshooting/same-user-ip](https://kb.sucuri.net/cloudproxy/Troubleshooting/same-user-ip)
   
   the plugin and mod_praf do not work, I have checked this on both the free and
   pro versions of the plugin. what do you suggest? or can you fix in the next upgrade.
   The installed I am working with are both nginx and apache, but I suspect it will
   not matter, as the change needs to be made within the contact-form-to-email plugin.

 * At the present moment we don’t have a general solution for the IPs hidden behing
   a proxy but we will try to implement at least a partial solution for that in 
   the next major update.
