# Wrong recaptcha-version with Polylang

 * Hi, I am using Polylang and Contact From 7 on my site. Problem is that when I
   setup the recaptcha keys with version 3 -keys, the recaptcha-version in the main-
   language (finnish) is included properly like this in the source:
 * [https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?render=6LdYS6YUAAAAAPtahvGBhXgNcWGFP6ELMu4zW5O-&ver=3.0](https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?render=6LdYS6YUAAAAAPtahvGBhXgNcWGFP6ELMu4zW5O-&ver=3.0)
 * But in the swedish-version the recaptcha is included like this as a version 2:
 * [https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=recaptchaCallback&render=explicit&hl=sv&ver=2.0](https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=recaptchaCallback&render=explicit&hl=sv&ver=2.0)
 * I have tried switching to the swedish-version and then adding the keys but it
   does not have any effect to the problem. I don’t have any cache-plugins in use
   on the site either. Earlier I had the version 2 in use of recaptcha.

 * FWIW, I can confirm the behavior that [@liquid8](https://wordpress.org/support/users/liquid8/)
   describes – the Swedish version of the site (you need to click the Swedish flag
   in the menu bar, which takes you to [https://poco.fi/sv/framsida/](https://poco.fi/sv/framsida/))
   loads [https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=recaptchaCallback&render=explicit&hl=sv&ver=2.0](https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=recaptchaCallback&render=explicit&hl=sv&ver=2.0)

 * I was wrong. I thought I was looking at the Swedish page. Yes, now I can confirm
   the v2 script is loaded.
 * I don’t think for now Polylang has something to do with this issue.
 * What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

 * I am using the Avada theme. I tried to disable all the other plugins but CF7,
   Polylang and Avada’s essential plugins Fusion Builder & Fusion Core. It had no
   effect to this problem.

 * Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact
   Form 7 and Polylang.

 * Hi,
 * Thank you, I finally found the reason after trying this with the default theme.
   There was some recaptcha custom scripts in the Avada’s child theme which had 
   been added to the site earlier. I could now just remove them and after that the
   3.0 -version for recaptcha was included normally also to the swedish-version 
   of the site.
