Hello!
Which time did u select inside your Timezone settings?
Hello.
I did select Oslo in the WP timezone settings. Did not find any settings in the plugin.
My WP posts got the right time
Can you please create an example post/topic and give me a link and also the expected time so I can check this?
Mh, this is a little bit hard to reproduce. I set the time-zone settings in the WordPress settings to “Oslo”. The text under it says:
Universal time (UTC) is 2016-05-19 08:23:06. Local time is 2016-05-19 10:23:06.
This timezone is currently in daylight saving time.
Standard time begins on: October 30, 2016 3:00 am.
When I create a post, the local time is shown, which should be correct – for example:
2016-05-19 10:23:06
Could it be possible that there is a time-miss-configuration at the server?
I dont know. All i know is that when i post a normal article on my blog, the time is correct. When i post something in the forum the time is 2 hours to fast.
Because I am curious now:
Can you please tell me your actual time and the corresponding text in your WordPress settings? It should look like this:
Universal time (UTC) is 2016-05-19 08:23:06. Local time is 2016-05-19 10:23:06.
This timezone is currently in daylight saving time.
Standard time begins on: October 30, 2016 3:00 am.
The “Local time” should be equal to your time, right?
Universal time (UTC) is 2016-05-19 21:59:16. Local time is 2016-05-19 23:59:16.
This vas right now at 12:59pm
Hello.
I think i found the bug. I have tried many different time zones by city names. Then the time gets wrong. When i manually set the time to UTC +2 The time stamp on the forum gets correct .
Can you fix this problem?
I will try to figure out at the beginning of the coming week (I am a little bit busy at the moment) if its a WordPress or a plugin problem.
Universal time (UTC) is 2016-05-19 21:59:16. Local time is 2016-05-19 23:59:16.
This vas right now at 12:59pm
In this case both (UTC and local time) are looking wrong.

I tried city names and utc-times for me and both is working perfectly fine. Very strange. :S
Does someone else has this kind of problems?
Was unable repeat the mistake.
eblogg. Server Time?
Well…The problem is still there. I must set time to UTC+2 to get it right. All other automatic time zones i hav tested makes the time stamp go 2 hours 2 fast. This is not fatal but a bit anoying.
I have tested this now again on multiple pages and server-configurations and everything is working fine for me. I am pretty sure that this is some misconfiguration in your servertime-settings.
You told me that the time in some other parts of WordPress is shown correctly. This can be possible because maybe the time is generated there with JavaScript which uses the timesettings of your client-device.
