# Wrong user role given

 * Hello,
 * I created a new user role in WordPress, called “Mitglied”. I did the following:
    - set the default role for new WordPress users in the WordPress settings to 
      the role “Mitglied”
    - set the role for a new user after registration in the Ultimate Member Settings
      to “Mitglied”
 * Nevertheless, after registration of a new user on the page, the user role given
   is always a different one (“Kunde”). But the given user role should be “Mitglied”,
   so that the admin of the page gets an verification email to release the new account.
 * Am I missing some important settings here? Because I just don’t get it. Thankful
   for any help here!

 * What value do you have for the “Assign role to form”
    in the right column of 
   your UM Registration form?
 * Try to change to “Mitglied”.

 * Thank you so, so much for your fast answer – and yes, that. helped! I forgot 
   to change the setting “assign role to form” in the registration form. Now everything
   works perfect!
