# Wrong username error

 * Ive tried to login to a soundcloud account but everytime I try to add a username
   it says: Wrong Username. Even if I try to add the standard usernames (which I’ve
   removed before trying to add it again) and still im getting the wrong username
   error.
 * Because I have multiple plugins installed ive tried to deactive them all except
   for the soundcloud plugin and I also have tried it on a clean wordpress install
   on another website. But it still didn’t work.
 * Is there something I’m doing wrong?

 * Your username should be the one in the url of your soundcloud profile.
 * e.g: [https://soundcloud.com/t-m](https://soundcloud.com/t-m)
    username is: t-
   m

 * This does seem to work for me (I was having the same problem). It’s not the username,
   it’s the last part of the URL, after the “soundcloud/”.
