   and on WordPress.org the version shows incorrect, perhaps you can explain so

 * On May 14, 2024, we released WC 8.9, but unfortunately, we had to roll it back
   due to some known issue. Rest assured, we are actively investigating these issues
   and eagerly looking forward to releasing the updated version soon. More info:
