    Hi,

May be tabs plugin is conflict with another plugins script, please deactivate all other plugin one by one and then let me know that which plugin are conflict with tabs WYSIWYG editor.

    Thanks

Just created new site (Network Multisite setup.) Network deactivated all plugins. Then activated ONLY Tabs Responsive within the individual site (not Network Activate). Same issue as described above. WYSIWYG editor ignores existing text and does not “Insert Code in Description”. Problem was noticed before latest update as well.

    Hello pwmercy,

When you will going to enter the html code then click on “Text” button which is placed on top-right side of WYSIWYG editor.

    Check this screenshot.

Try it and then let me know.

    Thanks

Yep that works. Thanks. I don’t recall this step being necessary before.

Before the tab is clicked the editor appears to be in “Visual” mode with style buttons such as B and I (as with other WP editing), even though the only tab is Text. Editing and Insert Code do not function.

Once clicked, it changes to “Text” mode with code insert buttons. It then functions normally back and forth and “Visual mode” does not come back even if I leave the Tabs Responsive page and return.

Not a big deal for me, but the “text” mode really isn’t WYSIWYG, like the Visual mode in other WP editors.

Is a big deal for me as I ma trying to put in a whole page in the tab description. This is not a fix if you have to format it all by hand. I click on the text and loose forever the visual editor on all the tabs.

Also I am unable to get <h1> to work or override them in the custom css editor but I guess that is only for the widget (?)

I do see a error in the console

…/wp-content/plugins/tabs-responsive/assets/css/bootstrap.css.map Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

    Hello feealvi99,

We will add visual mode option in editor with next update.

And do not worry about this error in the console

    …/wp-content/plugins/tabs-responsive/assets/css/bootstrap.css.map

it is only a temporary file error.

    Thanks

I’m having the same problem, and am patiently waiting for the update that will fix it (thanks wpshopmart!). Until then I’m using this workaround method:

    1. I create a draft page in WP and use the built-in visual editor to get everything looking right for the tab I want to create/use.
    2. I then copy everything in that visual editor window, open the tab’s WYSIWYG editor and paste it in.
    3. Click the Text button, then the Insert Code into Description button and finally click the Update button for the tab group.

If I need to edit the content of a tab, I first go to the draft page and make the edits there, then repeat the above steps. This way I don’t have to deal with html coding and can do it all visually (except for tables and other elements that the WP Editor doesn’t do well).

The next version of this plugin is 1.5.6 is under development(with visual editor mode) and it will be release in 4 or 5 days.

Problem WYSIWYG editor still exists in version 1.5.6

I type or paste this text in WYSIWYG

    a
    b
    c

I click “Insert Code in Description”.

    In the browser is becomes
    a b c

So all hard returns are lost. The only solution is to put
tags to force a new line, but this is too much work to edit forlong texts

    Is there a solution coming?
Or is it intended to work this way?

    Hello dannymul,

We are working on this issue and try our best to resolve it.
