# X-Tec-Api-Root Long Wait Time

 * Hi,
    My website is experiencing a long load time due to X-TEC-API-ROOT [https://mydomain.com/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/](https://mydomain.com/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/)
 * It’s clear from some googling that a lot of people have this issue as well, but
   I can’t see a solution anywhere. I don’t have any caching so that can’t be the
   issue.

 * I can’t say that this this is the cause for sure, but these reports seem to be
   related to server responsiveness, not actually cause by X-TEC-API-ROOT but is
   happening more from caching plugins.

 * Hey man, thanks for the response. Yeah I figured out it’s the plug-in. It’s just
   weird because the plug-in on another site doesn’t have this problem, and when
   I turn the plug-in off, the server is fast.
 * Also the forum reply email went to junk in Hotmail. Might want to good that if
   you have any control over it.
