.xml import not applying theme to content

    Someone created a draft website out of the goodness of their heart for my company and sent me the .xml files to import to WordPress.

    The thing is, after I imported the files, I went to “visit site” and it still had the default theme and looked nothing like the drafted site that person created, yet when I go to the media library all of the media content is there, so obviously something was imported…?

    Someone mentioned that it’s likely the plugins and theme are not applied to the content? Not entirely sure what that means/how to fix it… I have zero experience with website building/design. Would really appreciate any/all insight! Thanks!!

    WP All Import can import the content in to your site. But it’s the theme and other plugins that control how that data is presented on the frontend of your site. Unfortunately we can’t really help with anything other than importing the content to your site.
