xml map creation

    Hi,

    Strange behavior in xml page maps since last update, and any thoughts on whats creating this appreciated.

    Yoast SEO plugin now generates – yoast seo xml – /sitemap_index.xml but it is now blank just shows – /page-sitemap.xml 2016-10-24T09:48:07+01:00

    Normally you click on sitemap index to go to page-sitemap.xml.#

    If you go directly to /page-sitemap.xml all is ok

    Tried saving again and clearing cache but to no avail.

    After reviewing the sitemap for the website listed in your profile, this issue may have already cleared up. If not, please provide the link to your sitemap for further investigation.

    Hi,

    Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes all working fine today, how very odd. The only thing i can think of is that an update in a minify plugin doesn’t play with your seo plugin nicely.

    Any recommendations on what yoast SEO .js or .css or ?? strings should be excluded from any minify, cache settings, or even defer scripts to page end settings might be useful to know.
