# XML-RPC error sloving admin down substantially

 * Last night I got the following error:
 * XML-RPC Error:-32300:transport error – HTTP status code was not 200
 * At first I could not even get into admin, but after a while at least I got in.
   But it is very slow at the moment, and I have not been able to find out what 
   it causing it.
 * I did not make any changes prior to the message appearing, at least not as I 
   can recall.
 * Any idea what might be causing this? And any recommendation as to how to proceed?
   Should I reinstall WordPress, and sequantially introduce plugins and such?

 * You’re having a plugin conflict. The WordPress Version Check plugin for sure 
   produces that error.
    Deactivate all plugins and reactivate one by one, testing
   in between.
