# XML Site map doesn't work

 * Since last 3 days, I observed that site map is not generating at all. First I
   came across this issue from google web master. then I type in browser ‘[http://www.opensource-techblog.com/sitemap_index.xml&#8217](http://www.opensource-techblog.com/sitemap_index.xml&#8217);
   and it shows ‘404- page not found’ which previously was showing index xml.
 * Please note that I am not getting any issue but then site map is not working 
   at all.
 * Any pointer would be great help to resolve this.

 * Go to your permalink settings in WordPress and click on “save” without changing
   anything.
 * Next time asking anything on the forum, please google your answer.

 * Thanks for wonderful answer. The trick that you mentioned is worked. Apologize
   for making repetitive question. This was my first question to wordpress forum.
