# XML sitemap and RSS errors

 * I get the following error when I try to view my sitemap_index.xml file or my 
   rss feed file:
 * This page contains the following errors:
 * error on line 4 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the
   document
 * Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
 * I get the same error for both files, anybody else had this issue and know of 
   a fix?

 * I’m unsure it this is a problem with the plugin or wordpress in general. I’ve
   tried applying some of the fixes that I’ve found online but nothing has worked.
