i want Arranged xml file by wxr format

now i want convert xml code to wxr format
I have the same problem. I’ve tried importing my xml file into WordPress but it doesn’t work. I’ve tried renaming my xml file with a WXR extension and that failed.
What makes an xml file different from an WXR and how can I convert the files to work?
My website got hacked and had everything backed up in a database. Trying to use the database files to import into wordpress =[
Next time should the best thing to do be to export a WXR file every so often to backup your posts manually?
i am also trying for the same thing, but not yet found any useful solution. i found a script to convert xml to wxr but i dont understand how to use it. 🙁
