# xmlrpc error

 * Using WP 3.0.3, PHP 4.4.7, MySQL 4.1.22, WordPress for Android 1.3.8, self hosted.

 * I’m getting an error when using WordPress for Android. I’ve tried another droid
   client with the same error and I’ve tried a windows program that also received
   an error. As a result I know the issue is not with the droid app but the server
   configuration. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled WP but I’m getting the
   same error. Remote publishing is enabled.
 * Error is Connection Error: org.xmlpull.v1.XmlPullParserException: expected: START_TAG{
   null}methodResponse (position:START_TAG (empty)

 * No plugins are installed. I can go to [http://www.sarcasmblog.net/xmlrpc.php?rsd](http://www.sarcasmblog.net/xmlrpc.php?rsd)
   and get a proper response (no leading spaces, no html).
