# XMLRPC Image Upload

 * Hi.
 * I am trying to upload images to WordPress via XMLRpc. A new image is generated
   each time I run my code but I see an empty image in my Media Library. I have 
   tried to use a bit string (1010101), base64 encoded string and bitmap but nothing
   seems to work. In the XML-RPC documentation ([http://codex.wordpress.org/XML-RPC_WordPress_API/Media#wp.uploadFile](http://codex.wordpress.org/XML-RPC_WordPress_API/Media#wp.uploadFile))
   the format of the “bits” field isn’t clear. It just says “bit data”.
