# xmlrpc.php problem: xml_rpc-32700

 * Hello,
 * Yesterday my xmlrpc.php file shows:
 * `This function has been disabled This function has been disabled`
    As you can
   see on [http://www.peutograaf.nl/xmlrpc.php](http://www.peutograaf.nl/xmlrpc.php)
 * This came to my attention when I tried to connect the WordPress Android app on
   my tablet.
 * Also JetPack gives an XMLRPC related error on connecting, a least, trying to 
   connect as it won’t succeed.
 * I already tried:
    – Re-install wordpress 4.1.1 – Re-install Jetpack – Switching
   between themes – Disable all plugins
 * All the plugins I’m using:
    – Download Manager – Fourteen Colors – Fourteen Extended–
   Jetpack – Limit Login Attempts – Simple Lightbox
 * Does anybody know a solution for this problem? Thanks!

 * Thanks for your reply.
 * I will search for help in the places mentioned above. I don’t know for sure if
   this wil resolve the problem as the cause of both problems is xmlrpc related.

 * The xmlrpc.php file doesn’t show any of the mentioned options.

 * As I don’t know how to start with Linux, I guess I have to wait untill the 16th
   of March.

 * Yesterday, or the day before, the problem solved itself. I tried again to connect
   Jetpack, and it worked! I don’t know what changed in the meantime.
