I have built a website with WPBakery page builder. Having used Yeost before I was keen to use it again. It seems however that Yesost is not recognising any of the content added in via the page builder, and so all pages are showing as a low score and failing many of the tests. Can you advise if there is any way to make these compatible with each other?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

We understand Yoast is not able to scan the module’s of the WPBakery pagebuilder plugin.

Yoast is not compatible with every pagebuilder plugin or theme like WPBakery. If the plugin/theme has added the right code for Yoast to hook into, Yoast is expected to then scan those modules. We are not familiar with that plugin/theme so we are not sure if they have added the right code. We suggest contacting WPBakery for more information to see if they have added the right code for all their modules.

Please also know we are aware of the limitations regarding how Yoast works with pagebuilders and we are considering ways on how to improve integration.

In the meantime, please know that even though Yoast is showing warnings as long as you know you have added the right content like internal links, images, etc., so will Google. Google will still be able to scan the source code of the page.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
