# Yet another "cannot modify header" error…

 * So let’s start from the beginning… I had a blog. I updated it to 3.0.1, and something
   went wrong. I had the following error come up when I tried to log in to my dashboard:
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/content/t/a/j/tajharia/html/wp-includes/general-template.php:372) in/
   home/content/t/a/j/tajharia/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 890
 * I tried everything in the help forums, tried a few things my hosting company 
   offered up, but nothing worked. I decided to delete my blog and start over. I
   deleted everything, and reinstalled everything. I am using the default template,
   and only have one blog post up. I updated a bunch of plugins and now I am having
   nearly the same problem again.
 * I can log into my dashboard, but cannot update most areas. I cannot add pages
   or update my general settings, I get the above warning. When I try to do a post,
   I get the following warning:
 * Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/content/t/a/j/tajharia/html/wp-includes/general-template.php:372) in/
   home/content/t/a/j/tajharia/html/wp-includes/classes.php on line 1601
 * Additionally, on the top of every screen, from the dashboard to the blog itself,
   in the left-hand corner in very small print, is the website url. From the http
   to the .com
 * My blog is pretty useless right now. I don’t know what exactly caused this, and
   I don’t know how to fix it. Any help out there?

 * I think you’ve narrowed it to a plugin. Turn them all off, then turn on one by
   one till the problem recurs.

 * Try deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this
   works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(
   s).

 * I went to try deactivating plugins, but I can no longer log into my dashboard.
   Is there another way to do this?

 * Try [resetting your plugins](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no admin access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually
   until you find the cause.
