 * When I use the Yoast page/post duplicate module in combination with PHP 8.0 or
   8.1 I get an error when I want to publish another translation of a duplicated
   page. When I go back to PHP 7.4 it works fine. I’m using WPML as a translation
   module.
 * Have anyone seen this before and is there a solution?
 * Thanks.

 * Hey [@densel208](https://wordpress.org/support/users/densel208/),
 * Thank you for reaching out.
 * I haven’t heard similar experiences, what was/is the error you get?

 * Thanks Jeroen for responding!
 * I don’t see the possibility to upload print screens, so I’ll try to describe
   it.
 * On the page where you put in the slug, your SEO, language settings, etc. you
   can save your draft or publish your page. After I click on publish I see a red
   bar above the title of the page with the text:
 * Publishing failed.
 * When I delete this page, the page is being deleted, but I’m also being redirected
   to a webpage with the text:
 * There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin
   email inbox for instructions.

 * Hey [@densel208](https://wordpress.org/support/users/densel208/),
 * So sorry for the long wait for our reply, seems like we missed it.
 * The “publishing failed” message and the critical error you ran into are hard
   to troubleshoot from an external point of view. We’d recommend checking your
   server logs (if you have access to them) to see what the actual error is you
   ran into. Also for the publishing failed, this could mean multiple things, from
   a disconnect, a server response issue, a plugin or theme conflict,…
 * It might be that one or more plugins or the theme on your site are still not
   100% compatible with PHP 8+, so that might be causing the issues.
