When I activate the Yoast plugin, the top options for Elementor’s page builder (“elements” and “global options”) disappear as if the view has dropped. I can’t scroll up to see them.

When I deactivate Yoast, Elementor’s view returns to normal.

How do I stop this from happening? Do I have to keep turning Yoast off and on to work on the site?

    Hi @irreverance

We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble using both Yoast SEO & Elementor. We do know that you should be able to use Yoast SEO within Elementor – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-use-yoast-seo-in-elementor/

Can you confirm you are using the latest version of WordPress 5.7.2, Yoast SEO 16.3, Elementor 3.2.3, and the latest versions of your other plugins and themes?

Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.

Thanks @mikes41720 for the reply. Sorry for the delay on my end.

With the Yoast Plugin active, I found that there was a sliver of the top menu that I could barely see. That enabled me to click the hamburger menu and get to Yoast. Once I was able to add it and use it, the problem of the disappearing top menu seems to have gone away.

The document was helpful. Thanks for all the help.
