 * Hi there!
    Yoast SEO stopped working after migrate WordPress site from HTTP to
   HTTPS (installing SSL-certificate). After the migration, a suggestion to optimize
   the SEO data appeared in the plugin settings. But it leads to error “Oops, something
   has gone wrong and we couldn’t complete the optimization of your SEO data. Please
   click the button again to re-start the process.” Using the Yoast Test Helper
   plugin and resetting the Indexables & Migrations was unsuccessful. Please help!

 * Hello,
 * Thanks for reaching out.
 * So you have migrated your site from HTTP to HTTPS. In addition, you may need
   to take several steps to get your site correct with Google after the migration
   is done:
    1. Please claim and verify your HTTPS in Google. This guide explains
   more: [https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/176793?hl=en](https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/176793?hl=en).
   2. Resubmit your sitemaps under the new HTTPS version. This guide explains more:
   [https://support.google.com/sites/answer/100283?hl=en](https://support.google.com/sites/answer/100283?hl=en).
   3. Delete your sitemaps under your HTTP version.
 * You may also find these guides on some tips and tricks for moving to HTTPs helpful:

   and [https://yoast.com/ask-yoast-redirecting-domain/.f](https://yoast.com/ask-yoast-redirecting-domain/.f)
   you have any further questions.
 * If you have done all the above and still get an error while running the SEO data
   optimization tool, can you please check if there are Javascript errors on your
   browser’s console while on the error page? You may follow the steps here: [https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/](https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/)

 * Hello, Maybellyne. Thanks for you reply, but unfortunately your links are irrelevant(
   do not contain any useful information about my problem).
 * Anyway **PROBLEM WAS SOLVED** by myself.
    I refused to manually migrate to SSL
   and used the Really Simple SSL plugin. To my surprise, it eliminated all the
   difficulties of migration and kept my WordPress site fully functional (including
   Yoast SEO plugin).
