I’m happy to report that the new version of Open User Map (1.3.12) now has Regions (Areas).
There is no automatic Location conversion of “Locations & Areas” to the “Open User Map”. This needs to be done manually or with the help of the Import feature.Best Regards,

I don’t have any idea yet and would recommend you to ask the OneSignal support for help. Open User Map does publish locations (custom post type) in a native WordPress way, so it should work. I assume the issue lives in some setting of the OneSignal plugin.
I think, you need to make sure that you have enabled the “Public Pages” feature under Settings > Open User Map > Advanced. Otherwise the locations have no single pages and the push notifications won’t work without the possibility to link them.

Thanks for reaching out. There is no GoogleMaps to OUM transform tool yet (great idea btw.)
But OUM has an Import feature. Please have a look under Settings > Open User Map > Import & Export. I would suggest you do an export first to have the correct CSV file structure and the copy an paste the data from your Google Map locations into this file. Then import.
This article might be helpful for exporting data from Google Maps.

Yes, you can open the “Add Location” form on page load. Please see this article on how to do this. You need to make sure you execute the code snippet after the page has been fully loaded.

As far as I know the OneSignal plugin can send push notifications when a new post has been published. This should work for custom post types as well. The custom post type of a Location is called oum-location.

I just checked your page and the map shows up. Did you solve the problem? I guess it was one of these two issues:
- another plugin throws an Javascript error which breaks JS loading in general
- You are using a Page Perfomance plugin that tries to compress Javascript which can lead to this error

I‘m sorry that this took so long. Actually the Areas feature is ready now and already works on my machine. This will be part of the upcoming release (~2 weeks).

I would assume it was related to some “lazy loading” feature of another plugin?
