Okay, it’s good that we could narrow the problem down. Unfortunately I can’t do much about it from my end, as the #close href is part of the LeafletJS library that my plugin is based on. Maybe you should try to address this to the Salient Theme support as it is related to their functionality. In my opinion it is not good practice to bind their smooth scrollto function to every href on the page. LeafletJS is very popular and should work with every theme.

You won’t break licensing agreement between us when removing the map credits. This up to you. I just mentioned that it is not “good practice” to remove the credits. However – I can also see that in your case they claim a lot of space. Maybe you should scale up the map and use full width. Because your theme has a sitebar you might try this CSS to get in the right direction:

.open-user-map .box-wrap .map-wrap {
  width: 1038px;
  max-width: calc(100vw - 222px);
  margin-left: 50%;
  transform: translateX(-50%);
}

@media screen and (max-width: 1007px) {
  .open-user-map .box-wrap .map-wrap {

Additionally you could increase the Custom Height under Settings > Open User Map > Map Settings > Map Size.

Hey @schabermedien,

Good news! I’ve just noticed that #3 of the selectable map styles renders german city names by default (Open Street Map).

With the next update I will even offer a new map style which looks the same like #3 but loads the map tiles from a german server.

Thanks for the hint. Indeed Post Thumbnails (Featured Images) were not allowed for Single Location pages. I’ve changed that now, so that it will work with the next update.
