In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] No images in my feedThe video and gallery posts may not be regular posts, and so would be custom post types, which your theme may have created and manages. I would check with your theme support team on the RSS feed for those posts if that is the case.
You could also try specifying the custom post type in the RSS feed URL, like so:
http://www.yoursite.com/feed/?post_type=bookMore details here:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-make-a-separate-rss-feed-for-each-custom-post-type-in-wordpress/If you have two images, one cause is an image in the body as well as a featured image, and the other is having another plugin or the theme also including the image in the feed. Has your theme or CSS changed? Have you looked at other conflicting plugins? Does your post use the first image in body or a featured image uploaded to the post? Please provide details so I can help troubleshoot further.
Hi there, Our plug-in does not control post date or content edits impacting the feed except image. The order of posts in the RSS feed data is organized by post date (recent publish date first). If you are observing that a third party tool using RSS is displaying edited posts, which have not had date changes, you will want to explore the settings and functionality of that tool. It sounds like it’s picking up anything from the RSS feed with new changes/edits regardless of date.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] No images in my feedThank you for the follow up details. Our plugin inserts a featured image into RSS data. This photo is set in WordPress using the featured image field which does not take video formats. Please try uploading a photo using “featured image” feature on your post to ensure the plugin is inserting a photo into the RSS feed.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] Buy the license? Nah!@rschletty Thanks for the follow up, yes deactivating and then updating it should work, but deleting it and reinstalling will definitely work. Apologies, and I appreciate your patience in recovering from the issue we caused you.
We have thousands of sites using our plugin, I’m sure we can help you fix it. Mailchimp may require custom CSS to size them down, and the plugin options can be used to send larger images so they aren’t blurry.
Let me know if you’d to try some custom CSS in the template and see if that helps.
Hi @clynnvi, that may be a notification that you’ve not opted in or out. Visit the Plugins area, and see if there’s a link next to Settings for either Opt In or Opt Out.
If there’s Opt In, click it, and choose to either Agree or Skip.
That should clear the plugin’s notification. Let me know if you have continued trouble.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] Buy the license? Nah!Hi @unshakeablejoy,
Please create a support thread before leaving negative reviews… this is an easy issue to resolve that has been mentioned a few times in our Support Forums. If you can resolve it as well, I invite you to update your review based on the new version and your past use of previous versions.
As mentioned in the pinned Support Thread:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/license-is-not-required-for-updating-1-5-3-to-1-5-4-0-read-this/We’ve realized that another problem besides possible fatal errors with v1.5.3 is that the plugin thinks it needs a license to update – which is not the case at all. To get around this, please simply Deactivate the plugin, and the Update link will appear. (If it doesn’t appear right away, check for updates again, or wait a few minutes, or delete it, and search/install it fresh.)
If you’ve opted-in to our use surveys, a pop-up asking why you’re deactivating may appear, you can click “Skip and Deactivate” to continue.
If you have trouble Deactivating it, you can optionally delete the plugin via FTP or your hosting File Manager, then search/install it fresh.
Please let me know if you have any issues.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] I can’t update this pluginHi @auntypizza please deactivate and then update, and it should be good. If it’s a look, then instead deactivate and then delete, and search/install fresh. Only activate v1.5.4 once it’s installed.
Please let me know if you have continued trouble.
Thanks @repenter for the reply, glad you’re all good now.

In reply to: [Featured Images in RSS for Mailchimp & More] Cannot deactivate pluginSorry for the trouble!
When you click Deactivate, you may get a pop-up asking why you’re deactivating just as a survey, you can click “Skip and Deactivate” or you can click “Temporary Deactivation” etc. Once deactivated, it will update as normal, and the issue will be resolved.
You can also just delete the plugin using FTP or your hosting File Manager, and then search/install it fresh.
I am not sure how another plugin would be deactivated unless it shares our plugin prefix, please let me know if you have continued trouble.
Sorry for the trouble! You need to simply Deactivate the plugin first, then the update link will show. The plugin thinks it is a Premium version, which prompts for licensing it first, which is incorrect, and v1.5.4 fixes that problem.

Hi there,
Check the plugin or theme option that is adding your FavIcon to your site, and see if you can select a larger size for the FavIcon. It would be made smaller for the browser icon, but used full size for Feedly etc.
Separately from the above, our plugin adds an image tag to the RSS item (per post) as Enclosure tag, and also <image> but I’m realizing <image> may be used wrong, and should only be on the feed, not the item. I will look into this more.
Either way our plugin won’t help with that issue right now, but I will work on that for a future version.
