Unfortunately, it’ still not working for me.
I have disabled the entire container image with redis and I only have redisearch Docker image running at the moment on port 6379

But now both the regular wp-redis plugin is no longer working and redisearch plugin either.

Can I sent you details on skype or can I show you in a teamviewer session or something we both know and understand what is going on.
because we use a devops platform to manage containers and it’s configuration.

From your last explanation, I understand that running the Redisearch Docker image already includes a “regular” Redis server?
My understand was I needed both, as it also mention like this in your introduction:

quote: 1. First, you will need to properly install and configure Redis and RediSearch.

That gave impression we need both

Can you please kindly share the tech into and solution? I’m also using redisearch in cocker container and I think that is same reason why I’m also having connection issues.

When I try from CLI everything works fine

    Great!
Can you give some kind of ETA when we can expect the next release with password fix?
So I can have an idea when I can schedule this task back on my list.
I’m eager to try redisearch as we are using Elasticsearch for many years and want to compare the both.

    Thanks!

Is it possible to have a fall back option via wp-config? Just like wp-redis plugin does?
You can check it here: https://nl.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redis-cache/

This is interesting for us, because we deploy plugins via WP-CLI and run a custom configuration via our cloud deployment platform.
It allows us to “pre-configure” the wp-config with params for plugins, add custom WP settings like max memory etc…

Here you can see a recording of the issue: https://www.useloom.com/share/9379013225914412a0a5315010fd5685

I’m not sure, but I think that the plugin is hardcoded to stick to port 6379 which is now trying to connect to the redis service and not redisearch service.
Otherwise I can’t explain how it can “find” the service with a blank port value.

    @seyntjim OK I just found something strange…
    I have 2 containers running:
    REDIS at port 6379 default
    Redisearch at port 6380

In Redisearch plugin, I left port empty and now it says this:

Redis server is running and RediSearch module is loaded! But your index not exist. This mean your site never been indexed or for some reasons, the index have been deleted. Please go to settings page and re-index your website.

So now I’m trying to do this re-index thing, but the button is not responding at all….
I don’t know but this plugin seems to be very buggy and unstable

How is it possible it can connect to the service while it’s running on a different port when I’m not specifying it?

    Hello Salva,

    Thanks for your feedback.
I know I can change those settings with such plugin, my concern is why the user “shop manager” does not has permissions by default to use ATUM plugin?
That doesn’t make any sense. The shop manager is by far the most relevant user that should manage anything inside a WooCommerce. They have permissions to update stock, sale price etc… but can not enter purchase price or create purchase orders with ATUM?
That doesn’t make much sense in my opinion.

I will make the changes with my permissions plugin I’m using, but I was hoping a more straight forward approach would come from ATUM.
Basically you build a plugin for a shop owner for easier managing it’s stock, but basically all the features are in lockdown and only available for the admin user…

    Hello,

Yes I know how to define the a custom size, but my point is that I’m not using custom sizes in WooCommerce. I’m using the default settings with 1:1 cropping.

What I want is when editing a product and uploading the irregular image to the featured image, in background it should call the IMGIX API and resize the image as per requirements (square resize, fit to new square canvas, fill with bg color)
Now the image is perfectly square without cropping and matching the website main bg color AND the default 1:1 cropping from WooCommerce works beautiful.

So in relation to my other question, I need a way to push my image to IMGIX at that point and download back local so it can be offloaded to amazon S3.

I hope this explains better what I’m trying to achieve.

    Hello

    quote:
“You can only use Imgix’s CDN if you are using Imgix. It’s against their terms of service to do otherwise.”

    I think you misunderstood me.

I want to use IMGIX only for the image manipulation, NOT their CDN.
How can that be against their TOS?
They have a split cost: 3$/1000 image changes and 0,08$/GB CDN.
So if I don’t want the CDN, I’m still paying for the image changes, and at least just 1x for the CDN that handles the one-time traffic between WordPress downloading the images back to local and store them anywhere I want and use a CDN that I want.

So my “idea” is like this:
upload to WordPress > changes done in IMGIX > download back to WordPress (or directly back to amazon S3 if possible) > offload to Amazon S3 > CDN host by BunnyCDN.

So basically, I don’t need the IMGIX CDN, only the image manipulation feature.
When I check their API, they sure have all the features just to handle manipulation, so it’s only the part downloading the image back to WordPress that is necessary.

Is there something you can do to make this plugin a little bit more flexible how we want to store the images? Now it’s only take it all or nothing…
If you can let me know how much time it takes, I want to pay for your time to make this possible. It will only improve your plugin even more.

    Thanks!

Btw, any idea if you can make it work to also load 3rd party widgets?
I would like to build some kind of internal “news” system that fetches posts from RSS feed from my website.

This way, I can inform my clients about upcoming changes, new features, scheduled maintenance, … all from my “master” site and all client sites pull the data from a remote RSS feed.

    Hello

I’m trying both native Elementor widgets and your widgets from powerpackelements.com
But the problem also happens with native widgets.

The pricetable does look better from native widget, but fonts are still not loaded.
Also, the default colors are not loaded. I manually have to set colors otherwise everything stays greys colors for e.g. buttons.
By default they are blue but on dashboard loading it’s grey.

Me too. v 1.12.4 fixes the problem!

For me it’s very unstable working.
Some website it works, some not.
They use same theme (OceanWP), same Elementor version (all Pro version).

I already tried disabling all plugins, but it’s not working.
It seems like there is some kind of priority in which order you need to activate the plugins in orde to make it work in Elementor.

In all others it works fine (Customizer, native wysiwig editor, …), just not in Elementor itself.

Did you also check spam folder?
I just did another new user to my private email and arrived perfectly fine in my inbox.

Also, I got admin notification from your account in my inbox too, so the email is really sent.
I’m using mailgun, and mailgun also confirm the email has been delivered.

    Ah I see.
When I open source code and search for any of my custom colors, a lot results come back.
Mostly because I also applied it manually via Elementor already.
But how can I see if it comes from your plugin or not?

I think it might be better if you check yourself.
I just created a new user with your email address. You should have received an email with login information. In case you can’t login, please try password reset

    Thanks in advance!
