In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie Scan won’t finishHi @savingpatterns,
Sorry for the late reply; have you authenticated the scan? Because that runs from outside; and we have a local scan running at the same time. Can you check the console log?Update coming in 14 days.

In reply to: [Record of Consent Extension for Complianz] Connecting with Proof of Consent@davidevalerio We roughly mean the same; but the Cookie Policy automatically updates on wizard changes, or plugin updates – this means I need to manually update the policy ID in your plugin, while it does it automatically in Complianz.
I also want to proof the correct banner configuration for each user; the proof of consent from Complianz has both – the timestamped policy and the banner configuration. If we can connect it; then we have everything needed for Records of Consent.
Thanks for you quick reply!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Unable to activate or contact support@luthermax, if you could be so kind please forward them to [email protected] — for a direct message. We’ve been migrating email providers, it’s been a mess, apologies.
As licensing and other premium support can’t go through the forum by WP guidelines, please use the above email and we will make it a priority.

Good evening, https://screen.studio/share/Qgyu7K0t?state=uploading do you mean this? Could you show an example where and how it doesn’t work?
Thanks, regards AertHi @vrdpe,
We haven’t found a support thread for the banner, could you link it so we can help?
For the other comments; ‘Complianz is adding cookies’ I don’t really understand the issue; cookies are not ‘bad’ by default, I would even argue for cookies in some cases, especially when storing user preferences – instead of storing it on a third-party server you can give the user control by using a cookie.
In the beginning our data reset logic was reversed; so opt-in to keep your configuration of the wizard and banner when removing the plugin – which caused a lot of people to be annoyed that they had to start over. So we reversed our position – we can retry this with another solution in the near future.
Your email address is to authenticate you for an advanced website scan – this was up to you. It works without leaving an email address.
Regards AertHi @bajireg,
Thanks for sharing your feedback; please allow me to respond.
I see you’re receiving support, and for what I have read it’s on point and helping you through the issues. Some issues need further investigations, mostly because Complianz is affected by your WordPress and server configuration; which can differ per user based on theme, plugins, custom code, PHP etc.
I think you’re experience 1 issue; connected to either rest-api and, or database. Which can be resolved if we can do some investigation. It would solve for everything except ‘resetting user consent’:
For data minimization (a principle under GDPR) we don’t store consent, but the user does – so the user has full control. To reset consent we cannot change the preference, but only update the policy_id – so consent is in fact reset. As explained by email.
I understand that everything should work out-of-the-box; but we’re dealing with a lot of variables on an open-source platform where you pay for support and updates to get your own custom set-up working.
Let me know here or by email how to continue,

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] complianz plugin called to earlyHi @lifetoremember @kingbrown75 @softguner,
It’s the Terms & Conditions plugin, we’re are aware and are refactoring the plugin. You can disable it, and the warnings should disappear.
