 * I’m also interested in reverse auction.
 * A user needs to buy an amount of a product to be delivered in a given time and
   in a given location. So he posts this reverse auction so suppliers reply.

 * Without any reply, I found my own solution by coming back to version 1.9.13, 
   and all is back to normal. At least, the images can be viewed.

 * I went through the same issue, having an empty page at ../wp-admin/admin.php?
   page=nggallery-add-gallery.
    It took me a whole day to find out that the problem
   came from the plugin Find Me Elsewhere. By deactivating it, it worked back.
