In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache 2.8.15 “kills” AdRotate 5.17Hmm… I can’t even test it anymore since most features are now premium. 🤷

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache 2.8.15 “kills” AdRotate 5.17It doesn’t though, the plugin works fine with or without W3TC activated.
If you’re having some kind of problem setting things up, or with fragmented caching you have to be more specific.
AdRotate only asks/mentions
W3TC_DYNAMIC_SECURITYif it’s missing.Probably caching related then. If you see a code instead of your advert you didn’t configure W3 Total Cache correctly.
Check out this manual on making the plugins work together; https://support.ajdg.net/knowledgebase.php?article=46AdRotate Banner Manager has no code/function to output
echo adrotate_*, not that I’m aware of anyway…That looks like some kind of debugging you or someone working on your site added for some reason.
When I debug/troubleshoot stuff I echo variables. So I have no idea why this would be showing.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] Error insert new insertionMake sure that you have version 5.17 installed and that the database is properly updated.
You can see the database version and if it’s right in Settings > Maintenance, near the bottom of the page.@mindeeforman That’s good to hear 🥳
Alright, try updating to version 5.17, just released.

In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] alt attributeAnything you put in the
altortitletag will be caught by ad blockers and cause other problems.
But if you really want that 100% you can always add your ownaltandtitletag to the adcode. As noted in my previous reply – Please look up the specific error(s) and open a ticket for further assistance. Thanks!
If you’re having trouble with Red errors in your dashboard:
Please look up the specific error in your servers error log file, this can usually be found in your hosting dashboard somewhere. Look for errors mentioning
AdRotateor_adrotateor simplyadrotate.
Most likely there will be a couple of samey errors that look very repetitive so it should be easy to spot.If you have such an error please copy one, or all the unique errors, and paste them in a new support ticket in my ticket system.
You can open a ticket here: https://support.ajdg.net/.For all other issues, please open your own topic here on the forum.

In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] alt attributeAdRotate only gets the filename from the media library yes.
It won’t affect SEO.Recent versions of AdRotate expect a column called network, but in many installations the database upgrade script did not run properly — especially after migrations, older installations, or partial updates.
NOT ACCURATE! 😑 The last version (5.16.1) of AdRotate Banner Manager REMOVES the network column. Don’t just add random stuff to the database because you saw an error!!
I’ll see if I can find a query that still looks for it. But version 5.16.1 should not look for it anymore. So make sure you have that version. Also make sure your database version is up-to-date. You can see if it is in Settings > Maintenance, near the bottom of the page.
What is your database version? And the previous version?
You can see that in Settings > Maintenance, near the bottom of the page. What version of the plugin do you have installed? Did you update the plugin recently?
Errors like that usually indicate something wrong with the database. Please check the servers error log file for more specific errors. There should be something in there mentioning AdRotate. That’ll give us a better idea of what’s going on.
