It seems to be no priority at all to switch out a text label variable thingy (Should take like 2 minutes…)
Luckily version 1.3.3 works just fine. And seeing how they’re looking to introduce upsellery nonsense to the dashbaord for some Pro plugin (if you read their changelog for 2.0) maybe it’s better that way.
Adding this to the ‘never-update’ list 🥳
The hiding of ads is done by the javascript as well. All but the first.
If you set the correct ad size in the group settings that should work by itself, too. Without the script. Thanks for your kind words 🥳
Sounds like the javascript that does the rotation is not loaded.
Try clearing your cache/browser cache.
Re-saving the dynamic group may help too, sometimes.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] Ads Not Rotating on Mobile Device – footerOh like so, dynamic mode doesn’t work for Mobile users in AdRotate Banner Manager.
If you want ads to rotate like that everywhere you’ll need AdRotate Pro.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] Ads Not Rotating on Mobile Device – footerSeems to work fine for me, group 1 rotates a bunch of ads every 10 or so seconds in 2 locations at or near your footer.
Try clearing your cache. Both in the browser and the sites cache.
Yep I rolled back already.
And no – You have the info here. You don’t need a ticket or my email address to fix it.And oh no… More obvious issues:

This is still happening – When are you going to implement the easy fix… If I can fix it in 5 minutes, why does it take 6+ weeks for you guys?

In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] Not showing due to error schedule / geolocationWhat did you find it to be?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] Not showing due to error schedule / geolocationCaching sometimes works in weird ways.
But if it starts to show the ad, then replaces it with the empty space or that warning, that’s not something AdRotate can do. So whatever causes to change the output, it’s not AdRotate.Server side cache can maybe do that, I don’t really have much experience with server side cache. So I don’t know about that.
Maybe a lazy-loading plugin hinders things, since ads are images and lazy-loaders affect images.
But I can’t see that from here 🙃
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [AdRotate Banner Manager] Not showing due to error schedule / geolocationThat’s not how loading of ads works in AdRotate. It either does the ad, or outputs that warning. There is no mechanic to change the output mid-loading.
Logically that means something else is doing this, some kind of redirect or a lazy-loader. But probably some form of page caching, where it loads the correct (dynamic) page and then swaps that for a cached version.
AdRotate has support for Borlabs Cache and W3 Total Cache.
Check out this manual to see how to set up the plugins for that to work; https://support.ajdg.net/knowledgebase.php?article=46
Personally I prefer Borlabs cache (https://borlabs.io) as it’s much easier to set up.Other caching plugins may work but are untested.
