In reply to: [File Manager] No longer workingThis is marked as resolved but I wanted to thank the ‘group.’
WP File Manager finally was able to connect my root directory to Pinterest and my site was claimed. If you do Pinterest, you know how important that is to business.
With Gratitude,
Greer

In reply to: [File Manager] No longer workingThe reply is addressed to @orangeworx, so I don’t know if a reply is expected from me, the website owner.
The issue is marked as resolved by @orangeworx in the initial reply but Mandeep asks if @orangeworx will try to install default WordPress themes on the new server and use file manager. Let me know if the issue still persists.
The entire response was addressed to @orangeworx but sent to my email.
Where does this leave me regarding File Manager as the problem holder?
Thanks,
Greer

In reply to: [File Manager] Super convenient, saves timeThank you for your reply; it is greatly appreciated. Please excuse me but I’m just going to lay the whole thing out for you, and hope you have heard of this problem before. So, here goes;
Pinterest is having one heck of a time finding both the HTML Code in my Header and the HTML file from them that I was to upload to the Root Directory of my website.
Here is what I did on the File Manager Plugin page.
I opened the Public_HTML file, selected the name of my website, then I selected the upload file tab, retrieved the folder containing the HTML file to upload. The system said something to the effect that the file was entered. The upload name appeared on the screen as an HTML document, Read and Write. From my description, are you able to say if I did something wrong in trying to upload to the Root Directory?
SIDE NOTE: The author of my theme (Admania), was unable to add the HTML Code to the header. He had included a Header Script Code box that was to facilitate the addition of the verification codes. Mine is still laying there and is not being detected. I tried to add this same code to the Header .php but the system said it could not be done like that and I would have to try using SFTP.
I feel that the author of the theme did not complete some connections in the development of it; but, who am I to tell him that?
BlueHost was kind enough to try adding the code to my header, with no luck. Then, the same thing with the uploading of the HTML file to my root directory. Pinterest just can’t locate either one.
I feel that the author of the theme did not complete some connections in the development of it; but, who am I to tell him that?
Can you put a thought out as to what may be going on here? I don’t know what else to do. Without my connection to Pinterest, I’m losing revenue.
It was dumb luck that I found your File Manager plugin. I GOOGLED to see if there was any help for my problem and your plugin came up.
I am hoping for the best but have really bad vibes on this one.
Kindest Regards,
Greer
I highly doubt it has anything to do with the theme. It is highly unlikely that we all share the same theme.
Just a thought.I have tried everywhere to get help with this question about this problem on WP Pages in Dashboard. I am having the same trouble. Any answers yet about the grey SEO & Readability score bullet colors?
