In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Moving from dev to productionYes they will in wordpress and woo but not on ebay, so I suspect that the listings will need to be updated before I delete the staging site, otherwise the ebay links from shortcodes will remain from the staging site
When i migrate my site and do search and replace for the URLs, this will have no effect on the HTML description in ebay 🙂
Cheers

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] Moving from dev to productionHi
I have noticed that the images in my html description on ebay have links back to my staging site
How will this effect moving my site to a new url?
Will all listings need to be updated?

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] SKU GeneratorHi
Thanks for that.
I have a couple of comments, one i dont understand why the titles are not appearing for any listings? using the SKU generator? Also 30000 listings are actually only 919 items with 260 t-shirts with 65 variations each so I dont think that is a great deal of listings. I suspect that in the future we will have 100s of thousands!
So what i have done is download WooCommerce Product SKU Generator, which works great
I listed a product with variations on Amazon just fine but during an update I accidentally re-positioned one of the attributes below another in the edit product screen. I.e. I had size and the colour and accidentally dragged colour ended up with colour and then size.
The SKU generator works by appending these attributes with SKU in order they are set in the edit product page.
I updated Amazon and it stated that it had done with warnings for all 66 variations:
The child SKU (‘MTSFOTLPW354-large-burgandy’) could not be added to parent SKU (‘MTSFOTLPW354’) because another SKU (‘MTSFOTLPW354-burgandy-large’) has the same variation attributes ([“size_name”,”color_name”]) and is already associated with the parent SKU.
I guessed what had happened and re-ordered them so the product variation SKUs matched those in Amazon, i.e.colour-size, rather than as above size-colour, but I am still getting the same error
Could it be that your Amazon plugin gets its SKU’s from its own table rather than the woocommerce product table? As I cannot for the life of me get this to update, whatever I see in the woocommerce product edit screen or for that matter in the WP-lister, listings page???
Every sku matches, in Amazon inventory (MTSFOTLPW354-burgandy-large), in woocommerce products page ( andMTSFOTLPW354-burgandy-large) in the Amazon listings page (MTSFOTLPW354-burgandy-large)
But it still throws the warning above
And yes burgandy is spelt wrong but matched the way I originally spelt it 🙂
sorry

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] Issues with variation errors ASINSAnd also I have only a short cut of description, I am assuming that this comes from the product description in woocommerce, if so it has been cut off. And as there are no templates how do we make the whole description go to amazon?

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] Issues with variation errors ASINSSorry just found the ASIN section in the individual product in woo commerce so would it be right to add all the skus for all the variations in here. This will take a longtime for 36000 products
what this needs is a drop down where you can select the sku for the product variations so it is added automatically

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for Amazon] Issues with variation errors ASINSI have brand registry. so do not need ASIN or EANs
And in the individual product edit page there is no model number feild under the amazon section at the bottom

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] SKU doesnt map to Custom labelYeap but it could be an improvement
As I said its useful in ebay for searching and sorting
On the seller Hub I could immediately see the SKU if the parent SKU was added to the custom Label (SKU)
I can do that by hand no worries
ThanksForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] SKU doesnt map to Custom labelHi
I have done that and yes the variation SKUs come through fine
I think what I am saying is that I would expect the parent SKU to come through in to the Custom Label (SKU), field in the listing, because if I go to revise the listing that field is still empty and is useful for searching, ordering in ebay seller hub

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] SKU doesnt map to Custom labelHi John
I have done that for the parent as a test, when I revised the item and go to my listings in Seller hub, the listing is missing the SKU in the Custom Label field next to the item name
cheers
I will open a ticket about the listing report
However, when i upload a csv inventory file to amazon it has the following example fields for each variation. There is no colour, coluormap, size or sizemap for the parent item
color_map color_name size_map size_name
Purple Burgundy Small Small
Purple Burgundy Medium Medium
Purple Burgundy Large Large
Purple Burgundy X-Large X-Large
Purple Burgundy XX-Large XX-Large
Black Black Small Small
Black Black Medium Medium
Black Black Large Large
Black Black X-Large X-Large
Black Black XX-Large XX-Large
Red Brick Red Small Small
Red Brick Red Medium Medium
Red Brick Red Large Large
Red Brick Red X-Large X-Large
Red Brick Red XX-Large XX-LargeSo each variation would have a different colour, colourmap, size and sizemap but not the parent. So from my point of view, why would i attempt to do this in a profile when the profile represents the parent rather than the variation. It hasnt got anything to do with Amazon. The csv file for clothing works fine.
You say contact Amazon to see what they can do about a situation such as this, but this situation is not unique, i am simply trying to create a profile for an item that has variations
BTW, the magnifying glass does appear so I have selected my size attribute for sizemap because they have the same names but for colourmap, my t-shirt colours do not quite match so I cant choose t-shirt colour for the colormap????
PS free form field for colormap, so we can enter multiple colors separated with a comma
Or would it work if I created an attribute called colormap with the correct colours as defined by Amazon and then use the magnify glass to choose that??
Thank you
Of course you can john, I think I am communicating with you for wp lister for ebay as well about EAN issues and business policies
Sorry multi-tasking
