By the way, why Adblock works that way? As far as I understand, the plugin uses social media icons stored locally, not on the Facebook/Instagram servers? So, no tracking takes place. Am I right? Why does Adblock cut the icons?

Yes, you are right. The setting “Block tracking via social media icons” was active.
Oh. Sorry. The reason of the problem is active Adblock Plus. Is there a way to fix that behaviour? It is a wide-spread browser plugin.
