in the plugin settings, there is an option to disable the filter based on taxonomies (categories, etc.). The meaning was just: if I disable the plugin filter or I disable the plugin, users can normally see categories and their names. It was to exclude hypothesis about other plugins
I am not talking about the editors, I’m talking about the readers: the readers who have access to specific posts via category, cannot see the post categories (even if they are set). If the user is an administrator, it can normally see the post category. If I disable the categories filter, every user can see the post category.

(In the drive, you can see the user pov and the admin pov. The user has the group lettore_categoria-2, that is configured as able to see the posts in category “Categoria 2”)

Leggere -> can read
