In reply to: WordPress and SSLJust to clarify again, we don’t want to use Wordress in SSL. I just want to know if installing the certificate will affect WP.
Thanks

In reply to: Index.php in urlHere’s the solution in case someone is stuck with the annoying index.php/
In fact it’s more than annpying because it interfered with my page rank as well. In any case, this plugin does the trick: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/permalink-fix-disable-canonical-redirects-pack/

In reply to: 3.1 permalink for Custom tag – /index.php/index.php/StevieG. Did you figure this out? I’m on a Windows server and I’m now stuck with the Index.php/ on my url. I’m worried this will affect my Page Rank which is 4 and now with the Index.php/ it says No PR at all.

In reply to: Index.php in urlAny thoughts on this?
Thank you.
Thank you for the suggestion Wiederkehr. Unfortunately it didn’t help. I’m suspecting it has something to do with the captcha plugin itslef since removing the captcha code from the form resolves the issue. I decided to go captcha-less for now until I find a better solution.
Any thoughts on this?
I did. But it’s not an issue of conflicting plugins as it works fine without the captcha. Also, as I mentioned earlier, the message gets sent successfully, it’s just that the user don’t get the confirmation.
Thank you.

In reply to: Deprecated: Assigning the return valueI’m also getting this error:
Warning: mktime() [function.mktime]: It is not safe to rely on the system’s timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function.

In reply to: Deprecated: Assigning the return valueI still get the “Deprecated” error messages after resetting the plugin folder and renaming the current theme folder.
Do I have to manually go into one of the files and switch back to the default theme? If that’s the case, which file?
Thank you.

In reply to: Deprecated: Assigning the return valueThank you so much esmi. I completed steps 1 and 2, and now I can see part of the index page, but not the admin section. I’m hoping our IT department will be kind enough to do the manual upgrade. Maybe it will solve this problem.
I will keep you posted.
Thank you.
