 * Steve,
   Sorry for the delayed reply.🙁
 * I’ve tried all of the steps on the troubleshooting doc and:
   Question #1. Is the
   issue with all the slides in your slideshow? Yes. None of the slides display.
   Instead of the slide in the header there is the text _‘[metaslider id=92]’_ that
   shows up throughout the site.
 * Question #2. Is the issue with all your slideshows?
    Yes. See above.
 * Question #3. Are your plugins updated?
    Yes.
 * Question #4. Does it help to use “No Conflict Mode”?
    It was already ‘checked’.
 * Question #5. Does it help to use an earlier version of MetaSlider?
    No. Rolled
   back to 3.29.1. No change
 * Question #5. Does it help to disable optimization plugins?
    No optimization plugins.
 * Question #6. Does it help to disable plugins one-by-one?
    No. Disabled all plugins,
   except MetaSlider, but still didn’t work.
 * Question #7. Does it help to change your theme?
    No. I only have the WP Twenty
   Nineteen theme. I switched to that, but it wasn’t setup to display MetaSlides.
 * Also, I found the original errors in the error.log in the root directory. Now
   the slides still don’t show but there are no errors in that logfile.
 * Any ideas?
   Your expert assistance is **much** appreciated!
 * Thanks
   Chris

 * Kat,
 * Thanks for working on this 🙂
 * I went back to my websites that have your plugin installed, tested each by running
   an on-demand backup and no errors.
 * Not sure what changed but it’s working correctly now. 🙂
 * Thanks

 * Was there ever a fix for this? I’m getting lots of sucuri.php line 7307 headers
   already sent warnings in my error_log (1859 times in the last 37 days).
 * I’ve only edited the site once in that time so I don’t think it’s connected to
   editing the site.
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Kat,
 * I tried the 3.6 version but still the same issue.
 * These errors in the WP backend:
 * _Mysqldump: mysqldump: Got error: 1044: “Access denied for user ‘xxxxxx\_ttttttt’@’localhost’
   to database ‘eeeeeee\_kkkkkkkk'” when using LOCK TABLES_
 * IMysqldump: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1044 Access denied
   for user ‘xxxxxx_ttttttt’@’localhost’ to database ‘eeeeeee_kkkkkkkk’
 * No errors pertaning to this in the error logs.
 * Thanks

 * Oh and,
 * After looking at that mysql error I checked my php version and it’s PHP Version
   5.4.45. Then I checked a few of my other sites and found that the plugin has
   this error on two sites but not on the other five.
 * My WP is version 4.4.2
    I have pretty similar plugins across the sites. I have
   several different themes across the sites but the two that show the error have
   different themes.
 * Thanks for your help.
 * 🙂

 * Kat,
 * Thanks for the quick response. I’ve got a screenshot but I don’t see a way to
   attach it. Here is the full text of the error(s).
 * _Mysqldump: mysqldump: Got error: 1044: “Access denied for user ‘xxxxxxxx\_xxxxxxx’@’localhost’
   to database ‘yyyyyyyy\_yyyyyyyyyyyyy'” when using LOCK TABLES_
 * IMysqldump: Connection to mysql failed with message: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2000] mysqlnd
   cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using the old insecure authentication. Please use
   an administration tool to reset your password with the command SET PASSWORD =
   PASSWORD(‘your_existing_password’). This will store a new, and more secure, hash
   value in mysql.user. If this user is used in other scripts executed by PHP 5.2
   or earlier you might need to remove the old-passwords flag from your my.cnf file
 * I checked and my php version is
    PHP Version 5.4.45
 * Thanks for your help!

 * Thanks for the links to older versions. I tried rolling back a couple of versions
   but no joy.
 * So let me make sure I’m understanding the correct plugin behaviour.
 * What I think these instructions:
 * _Posts from several categories with an OR relationship, posts that belong to
   any of the listed categories: [catlist id=17,24,32]_
 * are saying is the catlist shortcode will pull the most recent posts from categories
   with the id of 17 or 24 or 32 and display them.
 * Is that the correct?
 * If so there is something weird going on with my implementation.
 * When I add this to my page:
 * [catlist id=7,8,9,10 numberposts=2]
 * I get two posts from category id=10. I thought it might just pulling back posts
   from the last category but when I changed the shortcode to:
 * [catlist id=10,9,8,7 numberposts=2]
 * I still get two posts from category 10.
 * Am I using the shortcode correctly? Could this be a theme conflict? I’m using
   the Weaver II theme.
 * Your assistance is appreciated.
 * Thanks

 * Yorman,
 * Thanks for your quick reply and yes I switched to the brute force alert when
   I started getting 80 to 100 emails everyday from my site.
 * The reason I’m interested in a digest summary of the failed login’s is because
   the second brute force alert email I received showed that the failed login attempts
   were made using my **un-guessable** admin username for that site.
 * How the hackers were able to get that username is beyond me, but I obviously
   need to closely monitor login attempts while I’m working to increase my security
   procedures.
 * If you have any ideas how my admin username could have been compromised by the
   _bad guys_ I’m all ears.
 * So I **really **appreciate your willingness to improve your excellent tool based
   on customer feedback.
 * Thanks

 * Thanks esmi. That worked.
