I have used the starter theme from fullsiteediting.com as well as starting from scratch from here: https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/block-editor/how-to-guides/themes/theme-json/

The only mention of units I can find is in spacing options which I have set: “units”: [ “px”, “em”, “rem”, “vh”, “vw” ]

However even with this set for site-logo or image blocks the only units I have access to are pixels – see editor images here:

In addition as you can see in the editor window the image does not responsively resize to the container too
