    Hey T-p,

    Thanks for sharing those links. This has nothing to do with WordPress in my opinion or the WordPress caching system. It was slow due to the API Calls getting throttled or something.

    Anyway, I just resolved the problem by purging the network config. This was clearly a network issue, and after days of searching Google and trying different changes to the PHP and Apache server configuration, nothing seemed to work. I did restart the server several times but the problem still seems to exist.

    The solution to the problem was to purge the network. If you’re on a VPS, try to reconfigure the network or see if you can find anything that will purge and reconfigure the network. It should automatically configure if not, then contacting your host would be the best solution in my opinion.
