 * I reinstalled … lost all my events, but the problem was taken care of. Hopefully
   in the future this doesn’t happen again.

 * No it does not. I have switched to Twenty Thirteen and only activated the Events
   Managers plug-in … still am unable to add an event. The problem seems to have
   arisen since the Events Manager update and/or the Word Press update. Using Word
   Press version 3.6 and Events Manager version 5.5. I have added events in the 
   past without problem, but I updated both the plugin and Word Press the same day
   and now no functionality. I did notice that after the update (a couple days later)
   the Events Manager was no longer activated. I activated it today and tried to
   enter an event and encountered the When/Where problems.
