So, it seems I read the README too fast and added the key value pairs to wp-config.php. After moving them to wp-settings.php things worked.

Nevermind. The issue was that the primary site in the network, the one where are aggregated the posts of the rest, didn’t have a single post. Added one post and voila, feed worked.
